The Tin Pub is run by Tom. A Dubliner by birth with Cork and Tipperary parents, a passion for music. Supported by Barbara, you are always assured of a warm welcome.
Often referred to as the Ahakista Bar, Tin Hut, Tin Shed, Tin Barn. We have settled on the Tin Pub!
The Pub was once the dancehall for Ahakista House but was dismantled, moved and rebuilt right where it is now!
Katie Hayes gave the Pub to Pat Joe Daly where it became know as Daly's Pub, a place for farmers, creamery workers and the like to have a drink and a chat from early in the morning to last thing at night.
Over the years, a number of people such as Michael Snell, Tom Whitty, Dan Reilly, Mike & Michelle Hegarty have run the pub.
It's now our turn and we look forward to welcoming you to the Tin Pub, as we call it. We have brought Real Music back to the pub and have had many memorable nights with well known guests.
The Pub has been redecorated, refitted but kept a 100 year old atmosphere with probably the best beer garden in the World!
